JETCAM International HPm Italy today announced a partnership whereby HPm plasma sheet cutting machines will be offered with JETCAM Expert CAD/CAM and Nesting software.

The latest version of JETCAM Expert also includes support for HPm’s 3D bevel cutting facility, controlling the head through a full unlimited degree rotation and tilting angle up to 45 degrees. HPM’s new patented technology in beveling is now supported, with both companies developing this through close cooperation to ensure that current and future HPm technologies are supported by JETCAM products.

JETCAM Expert provides a complete 2D CAD/CAM and nesting system including automatic tool path generation and nesting optimisation, along with multiple levels of automatic and interactive nesting capability.  It generates profile path files that are highly optimized to efficiently cut as many parts as possible from a given sheet of material (or spanning across multiple sheets).
